Orange County is projected to experience strong population growth among residents 19 and under. Strong population gains in the 20 to 24 year old population is also predicted. Workers over 45 are experiencing a tremendous expansion in Orange County. People are working longer and
retiring later.

The population is also becoming more diverse.

 
Bachelor’s degrees or higher were awarded to 26% of the population of Orange County residents aged 25 or older.
 
Associates degrees were awarded to 30.7% of Orange County residents aged 25 or older.
 
High School graduates represent 86% of Orange County’s population aged 25 or older.
