The Orange County Partnership is a private,
not-for-profit corporation dedicated to the
economic and employment development of the
County of Orange. Our staff works with economic
development agencies, site selection firms,
commercial real estate brokers, developers
and Empire State Development to find the most
advantageous and cost-effective location for
corporate attractions and expansions, including
possible placement in any of our 23 business
parks.
We work closely with workforce development
agencies including the Department of Labor,
Orange/Ulster BOCES, Orange Works, colleges
and educational institutions, and private
staffing agencies to provide employers with
dependable, skilled workers. We can point
prospective companies in the direction of
training programs and facilities to meet their
employment needs.
The Partnership works in conjunction with
government agencies such as the County of
Orange, the Orange County Industrial Development
Agency, the Small Business Administration,
municipal and local officials, Foreign Trade
Zone #37, Hudson Valley World Trade Center,
and the Newburgh-Stewart Empire Zone to offer
corporate attractions and expansions the best
incentives possible. We advise companies on
how to obtain sales tax exemptions, low-interest
loans, IDA financing, and discounted utility
rates, to name just a few.
We accompany you through each stage of your
relocation or expansion to enable your company’s
transition as smooth as possible. |
