the IDA to promote
economic development
through a program
of incentives - based
allocations that assist
in the construction,
equipping and maintenance
of specific types
of projects and facilities.
In general, the IDA
works to advance
the health, prosperity
and economic welfare
of our County’s
citizens
by retaining and
creating jobs and
attracting new business. |

Mortgage Recording Tax Exemptions: |
Any mortgage filed with respect to an Agency's interest in a qualified project is exempt from the 1.05% New York State mortgage recording tax.
If your company is planning on obtaining a mortgage on its project, this benefit alone will justify the IDA fees. |
